“I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I had been wanting to adopt a dog for some time but I never acted on it. On a Sunday in early February, I was looking online for a pit bull to adopt from a shelter. After realizing I could not squeeze a visit in my busy schedule, I distracted my disappointment with scrolling through my FB feed. That’s when I saw Mackenzie Morrin Korus had posted that her rescue was looking for a foster parent for Peaches. I knew instantly that this was not a coincidence but rather a divine power intervening. Everything continued to fall into place like it was meant to be. By the time it was time for Peaches to be possibly adopted by someone else, I could not fathom letting this beautiful and lovable puppy slip through my fingers. I am truly grateful for all of the love and support that Mackenzie and Marina provided me with throughout this whole process.
